The in-person event will be the ideal continuation of the Festival that has been taking place online since April 12. A new venue of the Isola Design District is Fabbrica Sassetti, founded as a wool yarn factory in the 1930s and a place of preservation of the neighborhood as a center of craftsmen and trades. It will host two exhibitions.

The Stage Four will involve visitors in a dreamlike installation with a feast of shapes and colors setting an atmosphere that will allow us to overcome the pandemic.

The technical partners of Isola Design District

This year, among the partners of Isola Design Festival there is also NeN (, a startup of the A2A group and the first EnerTech in Italy to provide 100% green energy. To help us develop a more environmentally friendly awareness, NeN has arranged an apartment in the Casa Distratta at via Pastrengo 5. This apartment will help visitors identify wrong behaviors in their daily habits.

Monkey 47 is also a sponsor of Isola Design Festival. During the Fuorisalone, the Black Forest gin will participate in Isola Design District with a nomadic bar. Among the various cocktails, the Bosco Liquido, inspired by the Bosco Verticale, will be served with a taste of ‘edible concrete’. An unusual pairing to remind us about the importance of building cities with more trees and less concrete for the well-being of all.

Lastly, Lamitex, a Friuli-based decorative laminate manufacturer, will make its materials available to set up the main exhibitions.
