The return of EquipHotel to Paris in 2022, after a four-year absence, was a big success
After a four-year absence due to the pandemic, EquipHotel returned to Paris. Despite these long and difficult years, the 2022 edition was a success. More than 95,000 trade visitors from 133 countries visited more than 1,200 exhibitors; and the exhibitors, coming from 36 countries, occupied an area of 90,000 square meters.

EquipHotel is the exhibition dedicated to hospitality that offers everything for hotels and restaurants. From tableware to technological innovations to wellness, the fair offers concrete solutions to solve all the daily needs of hotel and restaurant professionals. In fact, EquipHotel’s key objective is to create b2b meetings between industry professionals to close profitable business deals.
Among the highlights of EquipHotel 2022, there are the meetings of the members of the Meilleurs Ouvriers de France body: internationally renowned sommeliers, Michelin starred chefs and directors of luxury hotels had the opportunity to rub shoulders with a plethora of emerging talents, apprentices and students from hotel schools. “No less than 70 young people from Ferrandi Paris in CAP, Bac Pro or Bachelor’s vocational training programs took turns hosting, cooking or serving at the Lounge des Chefs and the Carré VIP, where a different chef was in charge every day,” explains Vianney Lecocq, a culinary teacher and instructor at the Parisian school.
The same was true of the VIP Bar, where students from the BTS vocational program worked alongside Victor Delpierre, World Coffee In Good Spirits Champion. “Over the five days of the show, young people gained skills as they were faced with different situations every day. They learned to adapt, respond and deal with the unexpected,” concludes Vianney Lecocq.
EquipHotel will come back in 2024
EquipHotel is held every two years, and the next show will be from 3 to 7 November 2024. It will follow hot on the heels of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, which Dominique Restino, President of the Paris Ile de France Chamber of Commerce and Industry, sees as “an opportunity not to be missed” for the hospitality industry.
