Milan Design Week is back from June 6 to 12, 2022, with Salone del Mobile.Milano and Fuorisalone. Salone del Mobile.Milano this year will also host the Salone Internazionale del Bagno, with all the latest in bathroom furniture, faucets, sanitary ware, and wall coverings. In the city, there will be many exhibitions of products to furnish and set up the bathroom area at its best, a room that increasingly resembles a spa, even in private homes.

Among the products we will see, in fact, are washbasins of many shapes and materials, oversized showerheads, and faucets with the latest generation of beautiful and sustainable finishes. We will also see decorative radiators that can fit throughout the house, and new-generation, antibacterial and sustainable wall coverings.
Materials are increasingly sustainable, thanks to ongoing research. Among faucets, for example, steel is becoming more popular; among finishes, PVD is increasingly popular. Bathtubs increasingly use plant-based resins alongside the latest acrylic; showers and faucets employ mechanisms that reduce water flow while maintaining a pleasant flow. Finally, wall surfaces are now produced with processes that minimize energy and material waste and feature antibacterial and self-cleaning properties.
